Physics by Lamhi: Not Your Boring Physics

PGT Physics Educator with 10+ years in the classroom, a certified CBSE Resource Person, and the person behind Physics by Lamhi, based in Faridabad, NCR.

Lamhi Chauhan, PGT Physics Educator, certified CBSE Resource Person, and creator of Physics by Lamhi

I’m a PGT Physics educator who has spent over a decade teaching Class XI to XII Physics: NCERT board prep, JEE-level problem solving, and everything students actually get stuck on in between.

As a certified CBSE Resource Person, I conduct capacity-building workshops on active learning and innovative teaching for schools across Faridabad and the wider NCR. The same rigor behind those workshops shapes everything published here.

Physics by Lamhi started as a way to explain physics the way I actually think about it: not as formulas to memorise, but as things you can see, derive, and occasionally watch fall apart at the edges. That’s also why the channel outgrew exam-prep. The same curiosity that makes a good JEE problem interesting is the one behind “why does your phone heat up?”

Academically: B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics, M.Sc. Physics, B.Ed. and M.Ed., and a Ph.D. in Physics, alongside IIT JAM, NET, CTET and AWES. DU alumna.

The Method

Everything published under Physics by Lamhi, a two-minute video, a full concept page, a worked problem, follows the same four stages.

01

See it

Every concept starts as something you can move, not a formula you memorize. Manipulate the real phenomenon before a single equation appears.

02

Derive it

The formula is built in front of you from first principles, so you know where it comes from, not just what to plug in.

03

Break it

The point where the textbook shortcut quietly stops working, and exactly why: the part coaching guides skip.

04

Master it

Board and JEE-level problems, solved by recognising the pattern underneath, not by matching to a memorised type.

Workshops in Action
